When does the course start and finish?
The course starts now and never ends! It is a completely self-paced online course - you decide when you start and when you finish.
How long do I have access to the course?
How does lifetime access sound? After enrolling, you have unlimited access to this course for as long as you like - across any and all devices you own.
Is there a Certificate of Completion issued?
Yes! Upon successful completion of the course, you will be able to download your Certificate of Completion! For an additional $10, you can receive a hard copy in the mail.
Is there a test for the 42-hour Class D Unarmed Security Course?
Yes, throughout the course, you will be tested per section for a total of 170 questions. The overall score of the tests has to be 70% to pass the course. It is advisable to download the course material throughout the class so that you can reference it for the test. If you have any other questions about testing, please call 904-830-0848.

Upon completion of the course, you will receive a Certificate of Completion to show that you have successfully completed the course. It is this certificate that you will need to turn in to the Florida Division of Licensing proving that you attended a licensed facility. While out shopping for a training facility to attend, make sure that the facility has an active Florida "DS" license and they are legally able to conduct the training. If they are unable to provide you with a valid Certificate of Completion, then look for another place to train. The student will have the opportunity to print the course pages and use them for the section exams. PLEASE NOTE: At the end of the course, you will be able to print off your Certificate of Completion for the State of Florida.

He focuses on post order review, security assessments, training programs, and account management of Securus Group's Operations. Kyle has been in the private security industry for over 25 years in every capacity to include security officer all the way up to managing a team of 200 officers. He is currently licensed in nearly every aspect of the security industry and is a graduate of the Jacksonville Sheriff's Auxiliary Academy and has served 15 years in the Community Affairs Crime Prevention Unit. His leadership is the one of the main driving forces behind our success.
